Fantasy-based hack-and-slash RPG

Lords of the Fallen is a premium fantasy role-playing game that takes place within a fictional world where you will have the opportunity to explore two distinct realms. The player is a member of a unique sect known as The Dark Crusaders. Their primary goal is to overthrow the evil god Adyr, an entity intent on crushing mankind.

In terms of graphics and game mechanics, Lords of the Fallen shares some elements in common with traditional action-packed hack-and-slash RPGs, such as Devil May Cry 4. However, it is much more impressive when referring to cutscenes, fluidity, and combat mechanics

A more expansive world to experience

This latest installment of Lords of the Fallen offers several improvements. One of the most important involves the fact that the world is five times larger. Thus, there are more areas to explore and demons to encounter. This will provide players with an immersive overall experience. It can be played solo or with two players. Note that the multiplayer mode is more challenging in terms of enemies and level bosses.

Another impressive feature of this game is associated with the sheer level of customization offered to players. There are no fewer than nine separate character classes. Each of these boasts its own set of skills, and these can be upgraded when enemies are defeated. These include spells, stats, weapons, and armor. Weapons and armor come in a variety of types and sizes, allowing you to curate your ideal combat style.

Start off strong

Players who have availed of Lords of the Fallen’s deluxe edition are in for a treat as they gain exclusive access to the Dark Crusader build. Unlike your typical starter classes, this melee build provides you with a number of resources that you can find later in the game as soon as you start playing. With this build, players can automatically obtain the Dark Crusader armor set, Isaac’s Longsword, the Rosary Catalyst, and the Paladin’s Pendant.

Can be played on various platforms

Not even a whole decade after its predecessor’s release, the sequel of the same name — Lords of the Fallen — is going to be available to play. It is playable on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the sequel packs a challenging RPG set in the same universe as the original, although the events are happening a millennium later. Interestingly, its name has been changed from The Lords of the Fallen to simply Lords of the Fall during its development process.

A cutting-edge fantasy RPG

Lords of the Fallen combines traditional hack-and-slash tactics with engaging fantasy environments like those associated with games, including Elden Ring. It does so with the high-quality, cutting-edge technology of the gaming engine Unreal Engine 5, providing gamers with a fresh yet challenging gaming experience. In terms of epic online RPG quests, this platform should not be overlooked. It is highly recommended to be checked out and played on all of the platforms on which it’s available.
